We are a family run Café, Farm and Gift Shop. Established almost 50 years ago, the Hardy family has been bringing the best in seasonal produce to the people of Farndon, Newark, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.
Hardy’s also has an established Business Park which is home to storage and business unit rentals.

Meet Holly Hardy
I was lucky enough to be born into a farming family. Living on a farm was a truly great experience for many reasons. Growing up I experienced first hand where food comes from, how to care for it, how to use resources wisely and very importantly, how to treat nature and all it provides with respect.
That journey and learning is still ongoing and our work with the Farm Shop and Corner House Cafe is the start of sharing our vision with our customers, community and suppliers.
Sourcing, Cooking , Eating, Drinking, Enjoying and providing good wholesome food is absolutely key as is striving for the best quality and to buy locally and to buy British whenever we can.
As a former Commercial Property Agent - I understand the need to source all of our products with great care and indeed look after our suppliers in the process .
Our team will always help you - they have our customers at their forefront - I know that they all care very highly about ensuring we deliver to you. We warmly welcome you into our “hub”.

Katie
Katie joined us in 2022 and what a journey it has been. Over the past 3 years the Cafe has changed beyond recognition, and Katie has been instrumental in leading the way. Katie has been the creative mind behind our mouthwatering homemade afternoon teas. Her eye for detail has delivered some amazing food for baby shower's, birthday's and life celebrations. With a can do attitude and warm smile, nothing is too much trouble. Katie is always the first on hand bringing with her energy and expertise. We’re incredibly lucky to have her as part of the Hardys team.
Rob
Rob’s ability to develop delicious, high-quality dishes keeps our menu fresh and exciting, with customers regularly sharing positive feedback on his creations. Bringing endless energy and enthusiasm to every shift, Rob is also known for his wicked sense of humour, helping to keep the team going through even the busiest days. A valued member of the Hardys team, Rob’s passion for food and commitment to excellence make a significant contribution to the success of our café every day.
Debbie
Debbie, is one of our longest standing employees.
Debbie started at Hardy's Front of House and has worked her way up to Chef in our kitchen, we are extremely grateful to work with her.
If you've tried one of our homemade, hearty soups or delicious fluffy scones, you need to thank Debbie.
We don't quite know what she does, but Debbie's recipe always tastes better. Always happy to help get the job done.

Charlie
Charlie started her journey at Hardy’s back in 2019, working in the café. Since then, she’s grown into her role as Farm Shop Supervisor and Head of Giftware.
Full of life and personality, with a great sense of humour and a real eye for detail, she brings so much to the team every day.
Charlie plays a key role in selecting our thoughtfully curated giftware ranges and is truly passionate about helping the business grow.
